Onigiri and bloody massacre

See the onigiri I made? Those were the ones I made yesterday. Using the onigiri maker I bought at Daiso last time I went there. First, the onigiri made using those things are not what you would call structurally competant. Its all brittle if you insert fillings in the damn onigiri and will self destruct itself upon trying to eat it. Well, today was a bit better because I used some larger piece of nori(seaweed) which held the thing much more better than the ones before. But these new nori are quite lacking in taste so I have a lot of nori to get rid of.

To the massacre part. The time spent cursing the difficulty eating the crumbling onigiri, I had an epiphany. I'm going to build my self a defence system. Well, a mockup version that is. If I did a real one, I'd be living in a cave under a volcano with superweapons ready to fire at my finger tips. These were somehow inspired by watching Gundam 00. Well, I'll probably be having a massacre of cats being shot at using ping pong balls first. Now, I just need to get some components to build the thing and I need to learn programming. I hope I wont be killed by it first. Damn you crumbling onigiri!!!

Come on Japan

Well, yesterday I went to Daiso(yes, again) after I had bought some stuff for my projects and found some stuff there that made me happy and a bit angry at Japan. Look at the picture. It's an onigiri maker. For god's sake, how the hell did someone thought of that? This is cheating Japan! I seriously thought you people made onigiri by hand all the friggin damn time. It doesn't stop there. There were sushi makers, and loads more makers. You bloody cheaters. But then again, your damn brilliant invention made my life easier. Haha, I could now make perfectly shaped onigiri without shouting at rice or getting into deathmatch mode.

I haven't tried using it yet, so I'll post the aftermath of me trying to use the simple but cheatingly brilliant contraption. Looking at it, I actually see myself making not onigiri but bread instead of rice stuff with it. Damn you food making cheaters that made me use my hands making those disasters. Damn you!!!

Setting that aside, I just bought myself the iPod Touch 4g 8Gb. And I need to sell the old one for RM500 with a leather case and a new screen protector.

Onigiri

As you could see, I had onigiri. Well, I made those onigiri. As most of the Malaysian public have never heard of onigiri, its just rice that us molded into a ball or triangular shape wrapped with nori(seaweed). And usually there's fillings in it. So don't talk shit that its not halal. I made it by my own hands. This was my second try at making onigiri. The first time was yesterday and it wasn't as pretty as I made it today. Rice was everywhere and all hell broke lose. The filling for yesterday were sardines. Today was meat. Meat was a better filling as it didn't mess with the structural integrity of the molded rice. Or was it just my bloody fingers?

In the picture, the first row is all pretty looking, but they're just plain onigiri which are easy to make. The crappy looking back rows are the ones that have the fillings. Its hard to mold if you want to insert fillings. But all in all, it tasted near the ones that I have bought. Those used sushi rice and stuff that I don't have. Well, those 5 onigiri did well in filling my tummy.

Driving in KL

By the time I finish typing this, I was still not out of this bloody damn traffic jam.
Really, babies crawl faster than this bloody traffic jam. Well, if you are driving a manual car in KL, sucks to be you.

river of what?

The picture, it's a river. Why a picture of a river? Because I can? Nope, because I friggin bathed in it for 3 days straight. Well, for the most of it. I had a camp there where most were having their peaceful weekend, I had afternoon lecture. When people were snoozing, I bathed in mountain cold water at dawn. I had a blast every time we had to bath, but while the living quarters weren't bad, the river was all we had for water based stuff. Yes, including personal stuff. Why?
Because some damn water pump died while we were there the first day.
But then, the scenary was nice and it was good RnR for me.

That was a week ago.

Now, back to reality. My mind is bleeding out stuff that isn't suppose to be coming out of my brain due to much unneeded stress by having to work around the clock to damn complete my assignments and stuff. Man, who said fact is stranger than fiction? Fact is friggin anoying when we could bother looking it up on the net.

Oh yeah, not forgetting. Daiso. Just friggin DAISO. Its a shop you can find at Sungei Wang. I love it. Everything there is priced at a fixed RM5. From umbrella's to damn trash cans, from car polish to everything japanese. And all the stuff is imported from Japan. Some stuff would not have english words on it. I friggin bought a friggin transparent umbrella, a humidity meter(yes, an analog humidity meter), a bottle of spray car polish, and a friggin G clamp(google it you ass). car polish, G clamp, an umbrella and damn humidity meter for sum of RM20? I'm going to damn buy again there. Damn you!!!

the cat

Sepet, the cat that couldn't care less about you unless she's hungry. She's sick, again. Her front right leg is injured, she has liver problems and has an attitude of a problem child. She might be a bad girl, but my family treats her like a fifth member and we all adore her. Now she's skinny due to the health problems she's just sleeping and not doing anything.

I hope she gets better when I get home for the semester break.
