Day 10 outstation Penang, I am wet. My exterior is wet. My feet are dry. My jacket is wet. On the last site, I had to climb up a structure which was about 6-7 metres tall to calibrate a friggin scary tipping bucket(a rain gauge). When I successfully scaled the thing, the scenery was nice but it turned into misery when suddenly the land was blessed with a great downpour of rain. All while I was standing on a hand rail 7 metres above ground. While it took seconds to get down, that was all it took to make me drenched with the blessings from the sky. And that wasn’t the most annoying thing. The rain stopped just about 1-2 minutes after I reached shelter. All in a days work. I just want to sleep, and go home. Wait, go home then sleep. Priorities.
